How this site uses browser storage
Tribe Tech uses cookies and similar browser storage. Some items are essential for security and for features you request. Optional Google Ads and Meta measurement loads only after you consent. Declining it does not prevent you using the public website, checkout or Website Studio.
Essential storage
We remember your cookie choice on this device for up to 180 days, unless you clear it or change it from the footer. Older analytics-only permission is not treated as permission for advertising measurement. Sign-in tokens and the selected project are kept in session storage and normally disappear when the browser tab is closed; the corresponding protected server session expires on a rolling basis and cannot continue beyond its maximum lifetime. Website Studio may also remember display preferences and whether you completed the tutorial until you clear site data.
We use the country supplied by our hosting network to suggest the display currency: GBP for UK visitors and USD internationally. You can switch currency during your visit, and checkout links carry that choice. We no longer save a long-term currency preference; any previous currency cookie is removed when you visit. Display currency does not change an existing subscription or determine your billing address.
Checkout references may be kept for the current browser session so the return page can safely reconcile the payment. Security controls, rate limits and server logs are also used to prevent abuse and are not optional.
Website traffic measurement
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views, visits, referring websites, countries and device types. It does not use analytics cookies or browser storage to identify individual visitors. Our dashboards exclude private account and Studio pages, detected bots and URL query strings. Regional privacy settings and browser blocking can reduce measured traffic. This reporting is separate from optional Google Ads and Meta advertising measurement.
Optional advertising measurement
With fresh optional consent, our server also reports your verified first paid subscription to Meta, even if you do not return from checkout. It uses the same transaction reference as the browser event to avoid duplicate reporting. For this purpose we retain the permitted ad-click/browser identifiers, IP address, browser information and consent record for up to seven days; matching details are removed earlier after successful reporting or withdrawal. Minimal transaction and delivery records are retained for up to 30 days to prevent repeat reporting. We do not report renewals, unpaid checkouts, free trials or refunded payments as new purchases.
If you choose “Accept optional”, Google Ads and Meta receive limited information needed to measure and improve our advertising. This includes permitted public page visits, ad-click identifiers, checkout handoffs, successfully saved enquiries and their service category, verified purchase value and currency, and a non-secret transaction or enquiry reference. These providers also receive connection information such as your IP address and browser information. Meta may match these events to activity on Facebook or Instagram. We do not send your name, email, card details, project brief, private access links or Operations Hub content in these events. Automatic advanced matching, automatic event creation and collection of extra page/product details are disabled. Google enhanced conversions and personalised-advertising signals remain disabled.
Google Ads may set first-party cookies beginning _gcl_ to remember ad clicks, with a configured lifetime of up to 90 days. Meta may use _fbp and _fbc cookies to connect visits and ad clicks. We keep non-secret transaction and enquiry references locally for up to 30 days to prevent repeated conversion reporting. We do not load either advertising tag before optional consent or when the browser sends Global Privacy Control. Previous Google-only permission does not authorise Meta: we ask for a new choice. Learn more about Google's use of information and Meta's cookies.
Your choices
Choose “Essential only” or “Accept optional” in the banner. You can reopen the same controls at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing “Essential only” stops optional browser tracking immediately, clears the advertising cookies we control and asks our server to stop pending measurement for checkouts started on this browser. Keep the browser connected until this update is confirmed; if it fails, we show a retry message and retry on a later visit. This does not erase events already sent to Google or Meta or cancel a request already in progress. Browser-held withdrawal references expire after seven days. Clearing site data first can prevent this browser from identifying pending checkout measurement; contact support@tribetech.app for help. Server reporting is restricted to recent verified payments and expires automatically.
