No, Tribe Tech isn't free, and we'd rather say so plainly. The build is £0 upfront: there's no separate build invoice. You then pay a monthly plan, from £89 + VAT a month on Start Up, for as long as we host and look after your website.
What you pay, and when
- At checkout: your first month's plan fee. Checkout shows exactly what's due before you pay.
- Then monthly, in advance, until you cancel from your account or by emailing support@tribetech.app.
- Agreed separately: domains, third-party charges and new functionality.

Tribe Tech or a DIY site builder's free plan?
A DIY site builder's free plan is a tool: you design, write and look after the website yourself. Free plans usually show the builder's branding and use its web address rather than your own domain.
With Tribe Tech, we design the website around your business, host it, keep it secure and make the changes you send us. That's what the monthly plan pays for.
If you'd rather build it yourself and pay nothing, a DIY builder is the cheaper route, and that's a fair choice.
